I've got very similar problems with my burnt DVDs.When I try to watch them first everything looks fine, but after some Minutes the Movies freeze up or jump through the chapters. In the worst case the DVDR doesn't even start in my DVD-Player(Lenco).With some burnt Movies I-ve got no problems. I always used the same DVD-Rs (EMTEC) and burnt the with single Speed.
My System:
DVD Burner: Teac DV-W50D
Authoring Software: Instant Copy 7
DVD Media: EMTEC DVD-R
It would be very nice, if anyone knew how to fix this!!!!
Yes. Yesterday I tried a TDK DVD-RW. I copied the movie, which did not functioned in my DVD-Player, to the TDK DVD-RW and suddenly my DVD-Player accepted the Disc. I hope my problem is now solved, but I will try again with "normal" DVD-R (TDK). Unfortunately these DVDs are very expensive (3,50 Euro). But I'm sick of having problems with this s**t, because it takes a long time to encode a movie( ca. 3 hours) and still I've problems with the resulting filesize, which is sometimes to small (3,3 -3,8GB) or to big (4,44 GB) for a DVD-R. And so I waste capacity...or I've gotta encode the data again....(thanks PinnaclePC-GUY said:Welcome.Have you tried other brand media?
You might want to look around the forum and see where some of the other members in europe buy media on line. Sorry I'm in the us so I can't help you there.stuckeman said:Yes.
