playing a dvd withe xp

help with playing a dvd with xp

when i insert a dvd i get the message no dvd decoder installed.however if i close the message press stop then play with media player it plays but with no sound, why is this, how do i make it play

You need WMP 7/9 installed for full DVD playback support- although it's better to use PowerDVD or WinDVD- whatever works better in your system. If you have an old, clow computer you could have better results with Light Alloy 2.4 program.
