play dvd from hd

I´ve used cladDVD 1.3xp to rip some pictures and then tryied to play them with power dvd deluxe 4.0.1329 using the option "play dvd from hd" but it only played the FBI warning and after that it stopped, does any one knows what could be wrong? power dvd works fine playing directly from the dvd drive.

Also doing this is it possible to use the subtitles option or do I have to use other procedure?

Unnecrypted movies will not play "as is"out of the DVD as they use a crypted key unique to the disc, use a ripper ( such as smartripper, or any other) to decode the .vob files AKA: mpeg2 files, to the hd.

The option "play dvd from hd" from Power DVD only works if you copy the entire content of the DVD to the HD (e.g. SmartRipper's "backup mode") and then use the .ifo file to open.
