HI ALL,

right were do i start,copying a movie from mpg2 to dvd picture is great on pc convert to dvd using TMPGEnc,author using TMPGauthor,burn using nero6.

burn @1x

copy disk @4x

but copy is pixeling especialy towards the end

burner (btc1008) 8x lastest firmware

pc has been defraged

any advice would be helpful too many coasters now:-((

Could also be the media.What type are using?Is it recommended for your burner?Most problems appear at the end of a disc(you probably know this).Total size of the project please.This info will help the pros(I'm not one at this dvd stuff). ;)

You could use DvdProinfo to get a better idea on the ID code of the Datawrites.Some of their media is crap.That said,I tried out DvdXcopy Platinum.Had the same problem.Went back to using Dvdshrink.The pixellation problem was gone.You might also want to try your coasters on another settop player.All are different,some are picky on what brand Dvdr they will play.Have you had any luck with this media before?

Re-encoded file spot on mpg,got a sneeky feeling its my burner sometimes won't read my disk???
