Pioneer dvr-105 problem

I have a dvr-105 writer. I have finished copying one movie this
morning. When I try to copy another movie this afternoon, the
writer doesn't recognize DVDs(DVD movie and DVD-R blank disk),
but the CR-Rs are ok. What's wrong with my DVR-105 DVD-R/RW
writer? Is it dead?

Have you tried simply re-booting the PC ? Is there anything you installed between the mornings burn and aftyernoons rejection ?

I opened the drive and cleaned the head. It works
