pioneer dvdr-w dvr-105

hi guys.
i have justput this dvd drive in my machine but it wont allow dvd to be burnt on it.
when its empty it reads dvd drive but when its got blank dvdr in it reads cd drive
i tried discjuggler and nero and both say that its not available.
its a brand new unit and i am running xp.
in the properties tab it is recognized as a pioneer dvdrw dvr-105
any help greatly appreciated

what media are you trying !?


have you installed aspi ....

yes i have aspi installed and ive tried nero and discjuggler.
my pc says its a cd rom drive not a dvdr drive

2. download and apply Ahead's clean pack: http://www.ahead.de/en/631938356417810.html
3. do a test burn with Nero's image recorder and attach the Nero log file here, so we can look for leftover conflicting drivers; the Nero log file is called "NeroHistory.log" and is stored in the Nero program folder; when posting the file please delete out your Nero serial number;
