Pioneer 106 Firmware Upgrade to x12 Rip

I've been trying to use the rpc1122.hex upgrade to make my Pioneer 106 rip up to 12x.

I'm using Windows 2000 and when I try to do it from the MSDOS prompt within Windows it doesn't recognise the /2 being the Secondary Master.

I've then used a Dos6.22 boot disk and tried running it from a floppy and i get a 'Sense Key' = 5 error.

Any ideas ???

Tried the DVRFlash

dvrflash -f d: rpc1122.hex
dvrflash -vf d: rpc1122.hex

no joy !

I wouldn't recommend trying to flash a drive from a media that's loaded in it - on some drives, it's a definite recipe for disaster!

n make sure u set ur drive to pio mode
