Pioneer 105 wont write

I have a pioneer 105 and its mainly been fine but the last few weeks it wont do squat, it will copy cd no problem but, if you put a dvd in no matter what software i use it wont work, i use instant disk i pop a disk in it spins for a while then spits it out, some times maybe 1in6 it will start to copy and get half way though and then spit it out, it doing my head in :mad: any one else had this prob,

Perchance are sure the DVD media you are attempting to use are DVR-R and not DVD+R. The Pioneer 105 will only use DVD-R media.

that was my thinking, i've had my moneys worth out of her!!
I'm just looking now at a new one what you recomend??
The 107 or would you recomend any other???
best price i've got so far is 68.90 in vat and p&p.

No it's def -R i thinks it's just lost the will to live!!
if i put it on 1x it trys and runs at 4x so it's not well!
