Ok me and my mate both have 105s Mine is just over a year old and my mates is 4 months. They have both been struck by a fault which stops it burning anywhere from first start to the end of the burn with a check media error. The disks we are using vary but tend to be ritek g04. If they have only burnt the lead in they are fine to reuse, but other than that they are wasting a lot of disks.
We have tried different set ups re: master and slave and changed from pio to dma. We are both burning in XP and have tried dvd decrypter, nero, stomp etc, and similar problems with all of these.
Anyone offer any help or suggest any solutions?
