Pinnacle Instant Copy DVDMagic menu-Not showing

I've installed Pinnacle Instant Copy 7 and updated it to version 7.0.1.114. I then ran the IC Hidden Settings Editor 1.1.1 and checked the box for DVDMagic. I'm trying to follow the MrBass.org guide except that I've ripped the DVD to the hard drive with SmartRipper in file mode. The problem I'm running into is that when I click on "start" I do not get the "Customize disc" window as shown in the guide. The software just proceeds with the processing of the movie.

What am I doing wrong?

Do I also need to run the IC7.01reghacks?

Please advise.

Yes,you need the reg hack,as far as I know.I have used the reg entry,with no ill effects with the software.That said,I have not used the software with the advanced options you are trying to use.;)

OK I figured it out. These advanced hidden settings are very cool and useful.

After installing and upgrading Pinnacle Instant Copy to 7.0.1.114, run the IC Hidden Settings Editor 1.1.1 and check the box for DVDMagic.

Start IC7 and select the disk image on your hard drive that has been ripped down with DVDDecrypter or SmartRipper.

Click the details button and click on the DVD tab. Select Customized Resize in the "Copy method" drop down list, then click "Start." You will then be able to select each video file and preview it. It can then be deleted or the quality of the rendering adjusted individually. Same for menus. Audio tracks can be removed as well as subtitles.

Make adjustments until you get the project size to fit on one disk.
