Thanks again for posting this thread, spider. ;)

I tried this version of InstantCopy & my problem with Finding Nemo & The Hulk has been half-solved !

I made a copy with The Hulk, the DVD works fine but it starts directly the movie when I insert it in a stand alone player or a PC software player. I had to push the Menu button or to select the Root option to have the menu screen.

I'll keep this new version 8.0.0.265 until the next problem coming... :D

Yes you are all right. There aren't any IC8 updates available on the pinnacle site. However, the link provided by the original thread opener (spider - at the top) will hook you up with a trial version that is newer than the IC8 version currently being sold.

P.S. If you are including the underline at the beginning of the ftp link above, then yes, the link doesn't work. Otherwise, I just connected using that link and the file is still there to be copied wherever you want.

Yes, but I was trying to find the update for a purchased version of IC8 that is the same version as the trial.

Hi Guys!

just to bring in some light here:

  1. There is no update for the retail version yet
  2. the link for the trial version from above works, BUT not from all isp's i tried, some worked, others didnt! (try using a public proxy if you cant access the ftp (link checked today!))
  3. as it seems the trial version can also be used as replacement for the retail BUT This assumption is only based on users experience and has neither been confirmed nor denied by pinnacle sofar.
