anybody have experience with this media? I keep getting an error that the disk is not compatible with my burner. Two other disks, different brands, work ok. Is it safe to assume that it's the disk, or is there a problem with my burner.

It's most likely the cdr's.Try them on another writer(a friends).Your writer should be fine if it writes to other brands.;)
