pcm audio delay problem

Hi, a friend of mine asked me a question, and it's a problem I've never encountered.
He's capturing video with a tv card and saving as an mpeg2 file.
He's then importing to dvd fusion and mastering and burning to dvd-r.
There's a massive lipsync problem.
I have 1 of his "masterpieces" here.I've ripped it with Smartripper in movie mode and there's -80ms delay on the audio.
Now if it were an AC3 not lpcm (wav) file I'd say "run it thru AC3 delay corrector" But I can't.
When it's on his hd as an mpeg2 straight from the capture card, there is no problem, but dvd fusion splits a/v then remuxes.

Any help much appreciated

Try the Ulead DVD Movie Factory or the Ulead DVD Workshop authoring. There do more better job on non ac3, but good it .mpa file. Take a try.;)

Thanks for your sugestions guys, I'll pass them on.
I did a little experiment of my own and it seems to work.
I ran the wav through BeSweet(using ac3 machine front end) and made it a 2 channel ac3 file, correcting the delay in the process.

Cheers

Nick
