Patch Nero 6- allow DVD copy

Greetings! from a new member,

I have recently attained Nero 6.0. I find it a reasonable program, however, I try to copy a DVD and it does not permit me to, since it is 'copyrighted'. I had Nero 5 in the past, and it didn't matter that CD's were copyrighted - it still copied them away!

I wanted to create a post on here, to ask if any of you knew of a patch for Nero, that I could install, and it would then allow me to freely copy DVD's.

Any help would be greatly accepted.

I don't think that there is such a beast. If you are trying to backup a DVD5, just use DVD Decrypter. Otherwise, check out the tutes.

You need to Rip the DVD first as aybesea says checkout the tutes

Any dvd 2004 dose the job in half the time with nero 6

Works ONLY on 2K/XP (and from the comments, not without problems) has some pre-requisites too.

Not sure if it's a solution with Nero.

Have been using any dvd for 4 mos and no problems at all have heard crack ver that has been going around is bad but I have Real virsion and its great.

AnyDVD is meant as a CloneDVD extension, and anyway it's quite slower than Decryptor or Shrink, although it's supposed to do things "on-the-fly". It works of course, but its price is a ripoff- since you can do the same thingy faster and for free.
