Packet CD??

I have a backup disk of some old files on a CD-RW disk that I made with Packet CD. I no longer have this program on my system. If fact, I have since built a new system.
I want to extract the files on this CDRW disk. I plan to install Packet CD and copy the files onto my Hard Drive. These are Quicken backup files. If I install Packet CD, How do I remove all traces of this program once I have copied the files on this CDRW onto my Hard drive?

reinstall it with cleansweep
and deinstall the prog after
or
go to the website of the program
and download the "viewer" of
packetcd..... i'ts a autorun for it...i think
i try to remember.
