Hi!
Does anyone else had problems with Opera 7? I'm a long time user of Opera (since v3.62!) and I was waiting the 7 version... But how much deception! The program has really nice features (like the wand, multiple user on xp, etc.), and that's why I don't want to come back to v6, but its so full of bug...
The "search.ini" bug is still there after 7.01. In 7, when you change something in the toolbar, Opera adds some bogus search engine to the .ini!!! Worst... in 7.01 when you change the .ini (with Opera Search .ini Editor) to add a knew search engine, you can't "add it" to your toolbar, since this action will "modify" the toolbar and so delete the .ini and write a new one with some boggus addition... what a pain.
The drag and drop feature is really worst than without... For exemple, when I click on a link and my hand move a litle bit, the drag and drop feature comes out and it opens the link in a new window... When you see that you moved your mouse a bit and the link is "moving" you can't press escape or something like this to cancel...
Or with the toolbar: really usefull to have a small textbox to enter a google search without going to google.com. But after a search, I want to select the content of the textbox, but it wont let me! the textbox is simply "draging and dropping" to somewhere else... I have to click in the textbox, and select the text with keyboard arrows... What a pain!!!
They did the 7.01 because of a really big flaw in the code that could get to a big exploit...
Come on OperaSoft guys... I tough you were gould at programming? or maybe they're just stick with the "small rendering engine"...
anyway, what do you think about this guys?
