That's some news!
1.1.beta 1 had a fair share of bugs, but a lot of significant addons over 1.0.X "stable" series.

Uhm...
Did anyone manage to setup his dictionaries/speller properly in beta2?
I'm not an Openoffice n00b, but I can't! (both in the Win and Tux versions). They don't work properly- spelling errors are underlined, but the rightclick does not offer any correction suggestions.
There is also the java problem, which is explained at Openoffice forums- you must use Sun JRE 1.4.1._2, 1.4.2 beta or 1.3.1... 1.4.1 and 1.4.1_1 simply do NOT work.
In contrast, 1.1 beta 1 does not have these problems.
