Ok, what do YOU use for burning audio?

Im still saying that feurio and cdex worked better with scratched discs---hope they wont put me in that artical on hydrogen!!!!

bode: with a VERY scratched disk, CDex or Plextools id the best choice. EAC will do the job too, but you must be EXTREMELY patient.
Actually the difference between secure mode and burst mode might be just a few samples, but EAC (CDex) after hours of ripping will produce something better than the flawed original, while the burst mode rips will have crap/noise in replacement of the missing samples.
Another issue is that C2 errors (which is purely a hardware issue, as tey are reported by the device, not the medium) are reported accurately by just a few devices, but as am a lucky owner of a "good" device that reports them accurately (Ultraplex 40), i can afford the strain.

I'm with you on the Ultraplex 40 scarecrow, mine is with the Plextor 12/4/32 awesome drives and well worth the money.

Drive to drive copy on the SCSI, magic, pure magic.

I have the same two plex's & they are my back up drives BUT the plex 40 is what I use for Audio extraction <<>> they really do a good job.
