My system is reading 43C case, 54 CPU (and it's usually 34 / 44)
My cordless mouse died!
I'm makibg twice as many errors as usual ... no patience, no concentration, not much sleep either - if this is Global Warming, then it's got to be STOPPED!
And finally, my desk fan in the corner made a very alarming noise, and then clattered to a halt with the front hanging off.
Even after the time to complete the disassembly, the motor was still to hot to touch.
Amazingly, after fixing bits that had pulled out/worked loose, it wasn't dead (well, it struggled to turn). The motor was very stiff to turn by hand.
A squirt of WD40 on the front and rear bushes freed it up, and it's running better than ever - thank goodness, as it's perishing hot!
PS. Open the windows, and everthing that flies, stings, bites or just buzzes annoyingly makes a beeline .... that reminds me - must clean up the squished ????? - something I didn't like the look of landed close by, and the only thing handy was the knee board for my mouse - what a mess!
