Yes there are topics related to this but after reading all of them i'm still not 100% sure on them.
I'm just going to state some points, and can people correct them.
1) Using the well distributed Xp Pro key FCKGW-xxxxx, which generates a product i.d. of xxxx-240-xxxxxx, Xp Pro installs saying the product is already activated.
Is this a feature of the specific volume licensing key, or is it intrinsic to the Xp Pro Corp edition? So does this key work with normal Xp Pro (non-Corp) and cause it to already be activated?
2) Windows XP SP-1 will cause software installed using this key to not update any further. This can only be altered by using another corp key ensuring the product i.d. is still xxxx-240-xxxx.
3) The well distributed key FM9FY-xxxxx for Office Xp Pro with Frontpage also causes the product to not require activation. Again, is this a feature of the release that has been circulating the internet - or a feature of the key.
This also causes a product i.d. of xxxx-240-xxxx.
Does the SP-1 for Office mess with software installed using this key? Will this also require a new key ensuring the product i.d. is xxxx-240-xxxx? Using the bluelight keygen only seems to generate keys with product i.d's of around the 27x mark. Is it possible? Product i.d's for Xp Pro are possible with the keygen, but what about for Office Xp?
I've also heard that the key circulating for Xp Pro also works for Office Xp, is this true? Would that mean a unique 240 i.d. key generated for Xp Pro would work on Office Xp?
Thanks - hopefully this isn't too much of a double post.
Peace
