Thank you, sir... my favorite defragger, real professional quality, and bugs reduced to a bare minimum.
The fact that they update every series of their products just once or twice speaks volumes about their value.
I unstalled the Professional edition and tried the trial of the Server edition. Still no luck. Only the second hard drive (partitions F & G) are detected.
Scarecrow, have you got any ideas of why this is occurring? Thanks.
The problem with unrecognized FAT32 partitions was due to cluster sizes different than the standard (4k). If you mail the O@O support they will give you a link to the fix.
Still I'm not persuaded that the product is mature... it's damn fast OK, much faster than the previous version, but it does not inspire confidence...
The technicians at O&O very graciously mailed a new Defrag client to repair the error on my FAT32 system. However, once I installed the new .msi, I found that there were program errors on cancelling the first defragmentation run and again on restarting the program.
Frankly, program speed and automatic defragmentation capability mean much less to me than stability and being able to get the best organisation of defragmented files.
