O&O auto-defrag

How do you make this work??? It doesn't seem to do anything, even after setting the threshold at 2% (20% before that, but as nothing happened I thought this was too high).

Volume: C and D
Method: stealth
Percent: 2 (or 20)
Test interval: auto

What's wrong with that, any suggestions?

depending on the size of your harddrive...2% is still alot of fragmented files...and takes alot...you might want to email this question to O&O themselves and get there anwser.

I use O&O and it wont defrag unless your cpu is idle for an amount of time that you have set in the options, also it defrags a little when you start your system so it keeps ontop of things.

Like scarecrow said if it seams to be doing nothing that might mean its doing its job very well, i use it and have had no probs with it and it keeps my system in tiptop condiction

It seemed to do nothing and it actually didn't. The percentage of fragmented files was well above the 2% threshold for a few days.

After changing the test interval from Auto to 1min and rebooting it started working not much later; the Auto test interval doesn't work, at least not for me.
