NTI Cd-Maker v6.0 Platinum makes win xp hang[SOLVED]..
Hi
After burning a cd, before a text 'completed successfully' and before it opens cd-tray, the win xp starts to hang badly. It freezes nearly totally. Have to do a cold hard reboot.
My burner is PlexWriter 16/10/40 A with original firmware.
Had same kind of probs also with some NTI v5.x versions too.
Other burning software I have:
cdrwin v4.0a
Anti-virus is disabled, as well as screensaver.
Upgrading Adaptec Aspi to version 4.71 didn't help, nor turning off the 'auto-insert notification.'
Any ideas why it hangs?
Had no problems with Record Now! Max software. (Do I have to go back to it? heh...
)
