I downloaded the trial, but when I when to start the progam I get an error "Loading resource object failed"

Could you supply more info then you've posted.
Like H/W and S/W O.S etc sounds silly but it helps other's to try and track down your problem.

I have a Compaq 700 processsor, 10gb hd, 191 mb memory with windows 98. I also have Nero installed.

Trash the nti and keep Nero-problem solved!!

NTI has given me less probs than Nero.

With your prob - why not delete the trial and re-install ?

NTI Aspi has not been installed properly- probably you have too many burning applications installed.
