"Not able to create avi file" when frameserving w/ Xmpeg

When I try to frameserve w/ Xmpeg I get the message "Not able to create avi file". I re-installed videoserver package but the problem is still there. Never happened before...

Sorry, I gave up using XMPEG / FlaskMPEG over a year ago. Its not solving your immediate problem but have a look at using Vidomi for your DivX's, tutorial is at http://forum.cdrsoft.cc/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1151

make sure you have registered the frame server dll by right clicking the inf file and selecting install. I am sure you did this already but it is worth a try again as I had a problem with amother codec somehow deregistering the dll from avi handling.

Sometimes I find Xmpeg easier to frameserve the movie including subtitle...
I'll try to register the .dll again.
