norton sys works to have or not or have ?

i have norton system works 2003 i have it installed on an xp pro system
i have a thought is it really necessary to use as you have a restore on xp pro
etc. and does sys works hog memory cpu etc. is it worth using i have on another system just zonealarm and avast antivirus installed what does everyone else think of norton to have or not to have installed your thoughts plz

i'm quite happy with NIS2002;
never had problems with it; even i found out how to implement a few personally rules to use WhereIsIt's CDDB feature hazardless (thanks to Poko);
tried 2003 and 2004 too, but i don't need their extra features and their startup problems;
2002 is not outdated because it uses and gets the same scan engines like 2003 and 2004 via LiveUpdate;

i have 1024MB RAM installed and use W2k instead of XP, so i don't have to worry about resource hogs; :D

The System works part (not NAV) doesnt use too many resources, but NAV does, depending on how U configure it, U will notice things gettin a bit sluggish at times :(

I find Tune-Up Utilities to be a great replacement for Sysworks, doesnt have all the features (A/V, Speedisk, GoBack) but it is smaller & does a much better job & doesnt clog up the registry with crud :)
