Noisy CD at my car player

Hi from Brazil.

I would like to get some help from you guys.
I burned an Audio CD, from good .wav files, with Nero 5.5.8.0 on my 24X Acer CD-Writer. I burned it at maximum speed.
The CD sounds perfect at my computer, perfect at my stereo home CD player, but when I play it in my car, I can hear things, kind of noise... it looks like scratches of those old LP recordings, not as scratches of CD. I mean, CD scratches make the track to "jump". It doesn´t happen. What I hear is like a buzzing, scratching sound. Sometimes it´s there, sometimes not.
Have you guys an idea of what may be happening?
Oh, I tried to burn again at 4X speed. The noise is still there...

Peace

Welcome bro ;)
To me from wot your saying sound's like back connections bro!
You state dat sometimes there yeah? Buzzing sound, dats (that) more like a bad grounding of your set....
Does it only happen to dis cd you have done?
Or only happens when you burn you cd & use in de car man?
Check your wires on your set if dis is de case.;)
Tanx 4 your thread!!

The funny thing is that it´s only happening THIS time specifically.
I mean, I always play CDs (originals and burned) on my car player normally. No problems, no buzzing. The noise just appeared for the first time now. It´s a good 80min Sony CD media. I always used this brand.

Actually, I have burned 2 CDs, the first one at maximum speed (up to 24x), and the second at 4X speed. The noise is there in both of them, but in a different way. I got less noise when I burned at low speed (seems obvious... but I don´t want to be obliged to burn at 1x to have a perfect CD, right?).

Well, probably it´s the CD player. Maybe I should check it. Cleaning (again!) its lense may solve the problem.

Anyway, thank you guys for your attention, and I´d also like to say that I am learning a lot from this forum. If I could help you anyway, I´ll be around.

Peace

Jaime

Have you checked with the engine not running? Strange question I know, but I used to get very bad interference from the engine not being supressed correctly. Quick trip the garage solved it :)

Saying that, I don't know why it only happens with certain CD's
