Right, one thing I'm confused on....so this forum is Non-Warez & the associated site IS warez; this doesn't make sense...??

If the Mods were worried...they better still be worried being associated with a Warez site as the Main site for the forum is a WAREZ site. As far as I know, no other link exists to this forum except from the w3.cdrsoft.cc site, which...in technical terms....supports this site, which in technical terms....the Mods supports it's "parent" site. You get the picture....

NB...I read a post somewhere where someone said 500 members were actually "active" members....I think out of the 500 members you probably could have found a few members willing to "fill in the shoes" that the current Mods didn't want to fill - in the FEW sections of this forum.

No doubt...this place was great while it lasted. I believe that if it meant to keep the content it was originally intended, it would have alot of members willing to donate, but now that it has gone a different route.....there will STILL be "sponsers" and still be $$$ to be paid for hosting.

I do, though, think it's wrong to ask for donations and then turning the tables and making it something other that what your donors support...that, to me, is downright lying and cheating those who really support you. The fact is...probably now it will be more difficult to lure donations for such a forum since there are plenty of forums out there with such content. Before....it was unique...........not now.

well, let's play fair...NB didn't ask for donation...he planned to close the forum cause all the traffic generated by the attachments..and he has no problem with warez..that's why main site is still that way....

Enough about the warez

There are many other fine places that this stuff can be found. Sure it's a pain in the ass to look around for and "yes" you may have have to study chinese as a second language, but eventually you will find what you are looking for.

Some boards simply made that process a little easier for the common man/women/cat/dog and we should all be greatful that those boards did.

Now let's get out there and meet some chicks!

There is also the point, Poko. Why do it in the first place ? No-one forced these people at the point of a gun, did they ? If you wish to make them heroes, thats fine by me. They're doing stuff I wouldn't have the guts (or the ability) for. Or even martyrs. Thats also OK by me.
But don't slag off people for taking advantage of these warez sites. Pure hypocrisy mate. Theres been all too much of that on these boards lately. And its still going on. Moderators too, disappointingly. (Only a couple thankfully)
The obnoxious ones are gone, but still it continues. Its getting obnoxious in its own way (and a colosall pain in the arse) there are certain characters going over the top with their moral bullshit and its getting like the "Krystal nacht" mentality. Lets get back to bloody basics for chrissakes....
