No sound when coverting divx to svcd

I ran gspot and everthing shows up installed correctly. I can play the sound file by itself with no problem but when i burn it I get a black screen, UNLESS I forward ahead a chapter then I get video but no sound. I have converted xvid avi's to svcd without any problems. The movie I'm trying to convert is Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets Divx dvdrip. I am using CCE, don't know if it would work with TMpeg anyone have any suggestions? I've tried 3 times to convert CD 1 and threw away 3 cd's.

Thats not the problem, I have the latest xvid codec and I'm using the latest divx codec. I tried again using youtr tutorial to the T all my sound was at the begining then after that the movie started. It's obviously a sound sync problem and I don't know if I wanna go thryough the hassle of fixing or not...???

Well, I wanted to try it one more time and this time I chose not to make Image's. That is the ONLY thing I did different from my previous attempts. Everything turned out perfect and I don't know if unchecking the option to make images was the difference or not (don't see how that would make it work) but it worked!

Hmm... strange indead. I cant see how making an image or not can affect the video quality. Anyway, glad its all working.
