No Audio with Nero 6.6.0.1

I have Nero Burning ROM 6.6.0.1 and have been trying to burn DVD's from .avi or .mpg files I've created.
The .mpg's or VIDEO_TS.IFO's play normally (with sound) using my Power dvd player, but these files have no sound on Windows Media Player v .10!! Why??

Afrer burning the DVD-Files (VIDEO_TS) the resulting Video is o.k. but no audio in the finished DVD+r. I have a NEC 3500-A 16X Dual Layer.
I'm sure it's something relatively easy to fix..any help would be much appreciated! :(

Hi Scarecrow!
Thanks for your answer.

The VIDEO_TS.IFO runs perfectly on PowerDVD (with both video and sound) but when I try with Windows Media Player v10 the video is O.K. but the sound is missing.

When I burn the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders on an DVD+r using my Nero, the resulting DVD has no audio neither.

Do you what is going on? is it Nero?

Best Regards

Hi guys,
Now I have solved the problem with audio. The cause of the problem was very simple but difficult to find. The problem was caused by Kazaa_Litle_Codec v2.20. I don't know for sure why, but when I removed the Codec from my system and reinstalled the Nero everything began to work perfectly. Then I reinstalled the KL-Codec and I get the same problem (i.e. no audio). I think when the KL-Codec is installed there is a conflict between the WMP10's Fraunhofer IIS MPEG L3-Codec and the KL's AC3 filter.

If you guys know the reason of this problem please notice me.

Best Regards

a basic rule: Don't install any codec packs! only install the single codecs (latest versions) you really need; :)

The k-lite codec packs are OK, but not intuitive to install... You MUST know what codecs are already present at your system before installing it, and at installation time activate only the ones that are needed, and do not overlap already existing codec revisions.
