no audio using dvd shirnk 2.3

I'm using dvd shirnk 2.3 and copytodvd software to back up my movies. I'm trying to copy the movies to a dvd5. So far, I've backed up "we were soilders, quite american, fraility, and frequency". The picture is great, but none of these moives have sound! I must be missing a step or something. Can someone direct me to a tutorial or just give me the steps to add sound using the above software. Thanx Vince

Sounds to me like maybe you are only just selecting the DTS soundstream on these films. So unless it's going through a DTS amp you won't hear anything. ;)

Make sure you are selecting the "6 ch" soundstream if the film has one or the "2ch" soundstream on older films.

Unless you have a specific need for DTS then ditch it from the DVDR as it takes up a massive amount of room.
