the trouble with todays dvdrw is the price.pick me back up.
then theres the cost of the disk.
at the end of the day its not worth trying to copy dvd to dvd.
not when you can pick up a half decent orig dvd for £10.
i tried a couple of dvd to vcd in the past month for the first time.
jesus 3.5gs needed on the hd & 8 hours later.just dumped it as i didnt know what to do with it.
i have tried a few different apps & there was only one that wasnt to bad.it took 3/4hours to read the dvd & only took up the 700mbs.the trouble was i forgot which one it was.lol
but will be trying again as i have had to get my parents the band of brothers for xmas.& at £50 for the six disk pluss the fancy tin.
i certainly want to back up.
thank god they dont like 007. £250 for the set.i would rather shoot them first.lol
£250 im still in disbelieve.
parrot man.
you can pick up dvd-r for under 50 pence. Not much more than 2 cdrs.
The price of the recorder seems quite high, but lets face it, it soon pays for itself.
And the price of DVDRW drives will fall like a lead balloon in the early part of 2003 I reckon, there are so many manus bringing out new drives.....including LiteOn. My bet is that the cost of a new drive will be around the £100 mark by the end of 2003.
