Hi been trying to convert some avi files I down loaded to disc using Chicken mans tutorials but when it gets to check box convert divx3 to divx4 I can't as it's greyed out.
any help would be app.

Have U got the right version of the Divix codec installed?

I got divx installed version 5.05 and plays great all versions of divx Also,you downloaded from somewhere???Check with gspot what kind of file is???Couse maybe is not divx???so its greydout??Just a hint

DivX 5.xx should handle all versions of DivX (exluding newer 5.xx versions) both for directshow and VFW.

Hi downloaded & installed divx 3.11a & it worked in as far as it let me tick the box. Problem is when running dvd2svd it takes about 20 minutes then finishes with "Read beyond end of file The operation completed successfully" I am left with 3 audio files and 7 misc.files but no video file. Any ideas were I'm going wrong.

followed CM's tute only thing I couldn't do was under frameserver tab he says to click on sharpen this option is n't there
