newbie needs help desperatly

i need help i am trying to copy a movie which i have downloaded from my hard drive to my liteon dvd r drive everything seems to be going ok and then i get twoi error mesages
message 1 windows is low on virtual memory
message 2 there has been a transcoding error
then everything get aborted
i am using nero vision express 2 which is a part of the nero 6 ultra edition
i am running under windows xp and my pc has the following specs
MSI MS-6368 VIA SOCKET 370 SOUND/GRAPHICS
INTEL CELERON"A"1.0GHZ PROCESSOR SOCKET 3
512MB 168PIN 133MHZ SDRAM MODULE
SEAGATE U6 20.4GH 5400RPM ATA100 8.9MS IDE HARDDRIVE (WITH 8.58GB FREE SPACE IN MAIN DRIVE AND 3.94 IN THE SECOND DRIVE)
ARIES 52X INTERNAL EIDE CD ROM DRIVE OEM
LITEON 4XDVD+R & -R
any help with this problem would be really appreciated as after about 10 attempt i am finally ready for throwing the blasted thing through the living room window also when using nero the transcoding time is saying 9-10 hors until completion should i be using something else (wsorry i keep adding thing on but as you can probably tell im new at all this i can just about manage to copy cd`s and that took me long enough to sort out

did move your thread to a proper rubric;
i think you won't get many help about nero vision express 2 (Which subversion?) because nobody recommends this programm; there are a plenty apps which produce better quality results;

the program says nve 20022 and the nero version is 6009 if you dont reccommend the program which one do you recommend i have been trying to copy this movie toi dvd for about three weeks now and am complerely stuck any help or advice you can givr would be really apprecited would you recommend uninstalling nero and using another program and if so what?

try to update to the latest version, maybe Ahead fixed a Nero bug;


if you dont reccommend the program which one do you recommend
personally i can not recommend anything because i'm an "Audio only" man, never tried video converting; :D

i think i might just uninstall nero and go for another program thanks very much for your help but nero has the thumbs down for me it seems very complicated i just want a program that is easy to use and i dont think nero has this well its back to the start im sure i will master this computer thing within the next twenty years or so lol

I use a few different methods to back movies up. If you already have the movie on the drive try dvd shrink. It's a good program and free. It should recommend the shrink percentage for you and then use copy2dvd to write the movie to disc.
