Hey everyone, this is my friend "Demolition Man"...he's new to using forums (cherry) but has alot of questions and I am too grouchy to answer all the time...He just bought a TDK24x Burner and doesn't know what to do with it. Help him out won't you ?(Woody, fill him in...he knows nothing re: forum rules)

Here's D.D. : how do you burn your own cd movies from a camcorder, what's the easiest software to use. Can the disks be made self playing (autoboot?)

OKay bud, I have a capture card that I set to the proper vcd settings,so I do it in only a couple of steps.Yes they can be made bootable, most popular softwares,eg.Nero, NTI,etc.will do it.

Depending on your Camcorder (Analogue or Digital) you will need an appropriate Capture card fitted to your PC. Most come with suitable software to actually do the capturing to HD and some convert directly to VCD on-the fly.

Sorry a rather general answer to rather general question but hope that helps a bit.
