What's the word on ReJig??? Better than DVD Decrypter or DVDShrink??? I'm trying to find the best way ( looking for quality and don't care about taking time) to get an almots perfect backup of a three hour movie onto one DVD-R (LOTR The Two Towers, Dances with Wolves, Braveheart, etc...). I guess the compression would be around 60%??? Any help would be appreciated.

DVD Decrypter?? Don't see how that fits in.

ReJig is not for someone who prefers quality over time. It is extremly quick, however not comparible to say the quality of CCE.

My suggestion would be to download and try it, I mean it is free and as I said quick.

I've been using DVD Shrink with great results. How much of an improvement will CCE give me over DVD Shrink when the compression is 60% to 75%?????

And by the way, I tried ReJig 0.5E and for some reason the audio was out of sync with the video. I downloaded Rejig 0.5d and with that program the audio and video were in sync. The program did a good job handling LOTR The Two Towers ( 3 hour movie).

Nic should be releasing a new version soon with an improved transcode engine from Makira.

Quality of CCE vs. transcoders really depends on the DVD. CCE does not reuse the original MV's, etc. so if the original DVD is poorly encoded then it should be much better in terms of quality.
