New tutorials? :)

I like to use one progr that makes all stuff at once .... i saw tutorials to make divx or vcd or svcd but as i said i like to use only one progr (for now... :))

I tried to use DvDeo but havent much hd space and i think the process was freezed at 4th step (ripped only one .vob of whole dvd, just to try)

Now i've istalled DVDx and it didnt require all that free HD space, but i'm still noob to understand how are the best settings, so i'm wondering if someone is using it and could post a mini tutorial for it..........or may cdrsoft.cc staff could do something about hehe (i know i'm asking somthing that you just did).

Dho, just istalled dvdbackup v6.6 and it is completelly equal at DVDx

Ehehe did a search and in a thread someone said that dvdbackup is clone ov dvdx...

K nevermind :D

i'll use the tutorial..........those progs will guarantee me the best quality (if i well undestood :))

But i need Tmpeg.........here and on home page, if i dl it and extract got erros :(

All those all-in-one progs tend to give very ordinary quality at best. And generally just as hard to set up as one using a few programs.

Give the Tuts a go first and se the quality they can make and the time taken on your system,

I have no probs downloading or extracting TMPGEnc form the main site as that is what I'm running. You can always get it from their home site as well, _www.tmpgenc.net

You are obviously having probs using some download manager, as it warns you before dounloading. Using Flaskget via Netscape6 I get a 10kb file, but using IE itself, I get the full zip file. I just downloaded it again with no problems so the problem lies at your end. Turn off any firewall or download manager or use another browser.

I got it now ...just to say, i wasnt using no one dl manger only IE and this is the strange thingh :)....but now nm

I use usually Flashget, but havent istalled after format...still.

Ah another thing, Chickenman in your tutorila you use dvd2avi progr, but in evry post you say that you use dvd2svcd....now is it better?
If it is why u dont write a small update for dvd2svcd? :)

You are correct, I have been using DVD2SVCD for making SVCD's in recent times and they are substantially better than with TMPGEnc. TMPGEnc is still King for VCD's however.

I am also in the process of writing a Tutorial specifically for SCVD and will be posted shortly. Watch this space.
