New to SVCD

Ok so i downloaded some SVCD ISOs and i simply want to play the MPG on my computer.........I use alcohol to mount the image, then i use ISOBuster.... click on the AVSEQ01.MPG and select "Extract but filter M2F2 mpeg frames". The resulting mpg cannot be played with media player or BSPlayer or any other player. SO at this point i use TMPGec to demux the file, then select Simple Mux to join them back togethert but whatever i select VideoCD, MPEG1 system, ect.......the resulting file cannot be played in any of my players. i have the latest Directshow filter installed......least i think i do.......i know i'm missing a step here........anyone have any advice?

Why mount it if you are going to use ISOBuster?

The audio, but not video playing would suggest that you don't have an MPEG2 decoder/filter installed.

Been away on some well earned R&R.

WMP does not have native support to playback SVCD's, suggest you install WinDVD and all will be well.
