new probs with newer movies

I am trying to copy jackass 2 and my super x girlfriend. After dvd shrinks copies to the pc nero gets 75% done then gives me an error. I have burned hundreds of dvds but these two are kinda hard. It only happens on these two. Thanks

have you tried different media or changed media recently !?

Yeah I tried some new dvd+r's and they all failed. So, I returned them for the brand I usually use. Now that you mentioned it I just looked at my older burned dvd's and they are 8x . The new ones are 16x. Could this be it ? I have a hp dvd840i but it says it writes at 16x. Although this is the 1st time ever with 16x. Is there a way to slow it down or should I just return the media for 8x ? Thanks
