Cant be used with DVD2SVCD, it only uses quality encoders.

Probably can be used with Dvdx, but the trial edition is so unusable its not worth trying.

Sorry have no crack for it.
the old Panasonic mpeg1 encoder could work fine with DVDx but so far i find a crack, i´ll test the Pan. mpeg2/1 with DVDx both ways (plugin and standalone encoder-framserver from DVDx).

Well, what can i say?
I tryed Panasonic mpeg2/1 encoder (trial version - without crack) and i am very disappointed about the (my) results.
It crashs frequently (under my Os- Win XP pro SP1) and in comparision with Tmpeg, Panasonic is very slow and the quality is poor!
Maybe in future will be better.....

Upss....... I didn’t see that there is a forum with the same subject for discussion. (But Chicken Man what is the problem if I make my test and then post my own results?) Anyway it´s nice to know, that it wasn’t only me, that found Panasonic encoder unacceptable.

No problem in posting, thanks for the results, just pointing out your findings were the same as others (and mine). I would also assume you were not aware of the other post.

For better results:

Poke yourself in both eyes before viewing movie encoded with tmpgenc.
The results are the same as encoding and viewing with panasonic!! :D
