new firmware for the 40125w

Hello folks new firmware released by lite-on giveing mountrainer support to the 40125w cd-rw unit.

I have had it checked with nero toll and heres the zip file with the firmware - executable from within windows and a screen shot of the results from nero tool.

Hope this is of help to peps...anyone know what the hell mountrainer is????lol?????

Can anyone tell me the difference between this model and the Lite-On LTR-40125S ???
It's very important to know because I'm going to buy the Lite On 40x but I have no idea the difference between the two writers. I searched the net for it, and I found nothing about it.....

what i know

I think the difference is that the "s" version already comes with mountrainer as a feature use nero tool to see if this is the case...pop over to cd freaks and there forum has a lite-on section with all the info you should need.

p.s do not use the above firmware on a "s" version.
