New Ferrari 3200 by Acer...

Acer introduced the first Ferrari notebook in 2003, the same year it became an official supplier to the legendary Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team, meeting its IT needs with notebooks, PCs, servers and monitors.

Now Acer has made the Ferrari 3200, an improved model in terms of both performance and craftmanship. The high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish was achieved via an advanced ten-step production process. A textured carbon fiber strip across the keyboard strengthens the chassis while giving users the realistic feel of a race car.

The Ferrari 3200 sports a faster processor, the low-power mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 processor 2800+, and an operating system designed for business, Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional. You also get world-class graphics capability thanks to the ATI® MOBILITYTM RADEONTM 9700 visual processing unit.

More than a high-performance notebook, the Ferrari 3200 is a sophisticated mix of style and practicality.

@SEB its a Ferrari bud ... they do sometimes crash in F1.. and so do microsuck systems ?! do you understand now mate :)

Depends on what you need... personally I would opt for a much cheaper and somewhat slower Pentium M machine, which could live on battery for some time- that one should bust it within 30-40 minutes, so it's a "semi-portable".
Used to be suspicious about the Acer notebooks, but now I have a rather cheap one and I'm very happy with it.
