Wow thanks man!

I thought he had given up on it after getting ripped of by the various con artists out there, nice to see he has kept going.
What a GREAT day this truly is!!! :D

You're welcome guys!;) The developer is a great guy.Haven't tried this release, but please post back any results, good or bad.Put them in a separate thread. He does appreciate the feedback.

DVD Shrink 2.0

I tried this version, thanks to the link here, only to find that Ver 2.2 was out, fixing all the bugs in Ver 2.0.
For me, Ver 2.0 ,and Ver 2.2 both worked well, I even downloaded Ver 1.03, as I noted at an other place that some thought the earlier version was better due to being less complicated.
Both the versions are located at DVD Shrinks website.

I hope posting the link to the website is ok.

My only issue now is to find the best (simplest) way to burn to a DVD-R or DVD+R

Thanks for the welcomes guys/gals, I look forward to learning much more from you all.

Re burning if U mean burning the AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders I use & recommend Recordnowmax

http://www.stompinc.com/recordnowmax/rnmx-retail.phtml?stp

If U mean burning image files/copying I use Alcohol 120 an excellent piece of S/ware

http://www.alcohol-software.com/index.php

If U add the freeware Burnatonce to this for mastering etc

http://www.burnatonce.co.uk/

DVD Decrypter which will rip your DVD & U can also use it for imaging & burning DVD

http://www.dvddecrypter.com/

If U get these for starters U will have a pretty good set of CDR/DVDR burning s/ware:D

However there are many more products U may want to try so have a look around the forum for other members views:cool:

Well IMHO v1.03 *is* better than v2 in one respect and that is for editing out extras. I've been using DVD Shrink to edit full disc films and getting rid of the cr@p with no compression btw. Then processing the end result using IC7, yep it takes a bit longer but the end results are well worth it for me. So I will continue using v1.03 for this and v2.2 whenever I process the whole film with Shrink.
