New DVD95Copy Software released!!!

Laz

1
Copy any DVD to a regular DVD recordable with just 2 clicks, by keeping all of the original DVD features, like menus, different audio streams, and subtitles.

Dvd95Copy packs each DVD-9 to a regular recordable DVD-5, which can only hold 4.37 GB.
So with Dvd95Copy you can backup your DVDs to one DVD-R without the need to split it.
Even episodic DVDs and those containing a full and widescreen version can be backed up to one recordable.

How it works
To preserve the best possible quality for the movie, Dvd95Copy compresses all extras and menus at maximum rate to get as much space as possible for the movie itself. By stripping further audio and subtitle streams out of the movie, you will notice almost no quality loss for the movie itself.

Depending on your equipment, the repacking process takes up to 1 hour.
To use Dvd95Copy, you need to rip the DVD first to your Hardrive, using DVDDecrypter or Smartripper.
After using Dvd95Copy, you need a burning software like Nero or Prassi Primo to burn your backed up DVD.

But this is going to be changed in future, so you won't need any third party tools.

Man I'll tell ya this Pinnacle Instant Copy 7 is really kicking ass. I have a 36 inch Sony Wega HDTV and my DVD player hooked up via component video and the picture quality is superb. I just backed up the two 8 GB Lord of the Rings Exteneded version DVDs to two 4GB DVD-R's and I'm very impressed.

Have to agree,Instant 7 is quite good.;)

Have heard the same as Nolonemo,Dvd95Copy has lots of blockiness. Not gonna bother with that one.

Satisfied with Instant Copy7(dvd9)
Dvd Decryptor iso mode,DvdXcopy for Dvd5.:)

dvd95copy is still in early development.
the authors are still open to suggestions of improvement.

Too early to say whether it will be a winner or not.
But if all it does is make the oppositon work harder, it will be worthwhile.

I think dvdxcopy is dead. Unless u want 2 discs.
For everything else there are much better ways of doing it.

@Dave...Oh now I see...Dvd95 copy is new,and has a forum too!

Yeah,It might turn out to be a good one.

Macrovision just might decide to do something because of all these new programs. It's getting easy to make backups.Hope not!:(

Thanks Tommy..I hope Macrovision sits tight. Most Pc games still play in all hardware.I think they can still make it difficult for us.

No sense getting everybody worried.;)

WOW! Only 2 members reply. The rest is the big guys. Pinnacle instantCopy can try. Is Good. DVD95copy 3 hrs to copy a DVDs. Hard pain on HD.

Dvd95 copy is about 3 x faster than Instant Copy.
90 min movie should take no more than 1 hour with 1 gig proccessor.

Hello Daveml do you have tried this prog.
I have the full prog, and i have a problem with this prog.
The files i decrypted with decrypter and than i use dvd95copy.
And the next problem follows:
about 575 mb he closing it.
Its no pirate version.
Do you have a explanation for this behaviour?
So i stay for now by Pinnacle Instant Copy.
This prog does 5 a 6 hours do the job with great quality.
And keep the menu and extra.

grtx The Postman;)

Use your strength wisely my son!:D

I encountered the same problem. DVD95copy stopped after it "repacked such and such..." ...about 500 to 600mb.
Don't know what wrong. No problem with Instant Copy and DVD2One so far. I run it on XP Pro SP1 (Athlon XP 1800+, 526M DDR 2100).

It is working 3 x faster for me, but I'm stuck with a duron 1200 at the moment (i set fire to my athlon xp!).
Talkinking to other people with more powerful cpus they find it is probably around 30/40% faster.
Are u using 1.2? that is a test release for people who were having the program stop or not start at all.
I have done a few movies with it now and have had no problems or error messages.
I think 1.21 is imminent if its not out already.
Digimedic is working hard to put right any problems that are reported to him.
just visit the dvd95copy website for how to pass on your comments.
