New Dvd Protection ?

Found something very strange !

Problem with 3 DVD movies ripped on HD with SmartRipper 2.41 (full backup mode) :
ICE AGE - THE SCORPION KING - HART'S WAR

Watching these movies (on HD) with PowerDVD XP, gives the following message :
DVD ERROR - ERROR CODE : 89030000 - UNKNOWN FILE FORMAT (but DVD's are playing fine)

Encoding these movies with DVD2SVCD gives A LOT OF TROUBLE (audio desync) !
(I never had audio problems with other movies in the past !)

Does anyone have the same trouble...any ideas ?

There has been others having problems with ICE AGE (do a search here). Sounds like a poor batch of DVD's to me. Amny have ripped it fine with SmartRipper r others, some haveing probs and some even sync problems.

I have copies of all 3 without problems (not done by me) so they can be done sucessfully.
