New Capcom Announcement! (Gaming Age Online)

Yes!! Capcom Japan has just shed light on five brand new titles headed to GameCube. The biggest of the five is undoubtedly the Biohazard 4. But the rest of the titles aren't too shabby.
First, Biohazard 4. The game takes place deep inside the heart of Umbrella and the main character will be none other than Resident Evil 2's Leon S. Kennedy. Biohazard 4's release was originally slated for 2004, but Capcom has it officially listed as 200X to put a big question mark into its release date.

The second title is a side scrolling action game called Viewtiful Joe. The cartoon-esque title puts you in the shoes of a superhero that has to fight, well, beautifully. The gameplay seems to revolve around beating up your enemies in style, with a slow-mo feature and zoom-in feature to make fights look more spectacular. Viewtiful Joe is due out Spring 2003.

The third title is a hot action game - P.N.03 (Product Number 03). The game involves a female soldier who possesses an ultra-destructive laser gun. The soldier hires herself out as a freelance mercenary who kills robots upon her client's request. A colonial settlement turns into a killing field after the CAMS (Computer Arms Management System) goes haywire on the planet. The caviet is that CAMS has killed the main character's family, so she means to get even. The director behind this baby is non other than Shinji Mikami. P.N. 03 is due out in Spring 2003.

The fourth title is Dead Phoenix. Presumably an action title, the game involves flying and takes place on a floating ancient city. A warrior named Phoenix will lead the adventure. Dead Phoenix is due out in Summer 2003.

The final title is Killer 7. Two dark individuals, one in a wheelchair and one capable of over-throwing governments (hey, it's a dramatic description) have a rivalry in a hard-boiled action adventure. The title features five stories and four intertwining worlds. Killer 7 is due out in Winter 2003.
