Networking ?

 Im trying to set up a home network, I want to connect my ps2 to broadband through my Pc, I have used the network wizard but my Pc never detects my Ps2. After the network wizard ends I have another icon in my network connections ( network bridge)

Now I know it can be done because I had my Ps2 connected before on this Pc, but I had to do a re-install of then Pc and the setttings were reset. I have an itergrated Lan card on my motherboard.

If anyone has any advise I would very much like to hear your views.

thanks

Typically, after running the XP networking wizard (one of the most stupid things ever put in XP) your gateway's LAN IP is 192.168.0.1 - use that value for setting up the PS2.
Check if your bridge connection is firewalled- if it is, disable the protection.

Alternatively install a simple proxy server at your PC.

Sorry m8 , where would i enter this ip ?
How should I know? Never had a PS2, and I will never buy one... :p
Every OS and puter I've tried (PC on Windows or Linux or Solaris, PPC, Sparc machine...) offers such a tool.
Doesn't it offer a networking tool?
