Network Vulnerability Scan

:mad: I am using Sygate Personal Firewall Pro 5.0 build 1120 + AdSubtract 2.52, the problem is... I go to hxxp://www.norton.com and click scan for Security Risks(AdSubtract with filters -->disable Referrers+Java applets+JavaScript), the result is I fail "Network Vulnerability Scan At Risk!"

Yeb!! I go again with enable Java applets+JavaScript but this time I pass all test.:confused: the question is to disable Java applets and JavaScript should be safe than enable it due to we can hide some information about my computer. Right:p Any answer please:)

do this...double click on the sygate icon in the taskbar..then go to tools/options/security...and see if you have the enable stealth mode browsing checked if you dont check it..then go run the test...my results are all safe..except for the fact it tells me I dont have symantec installed.

then when you rerun the test..i will first say. cant detect operating system..that is a good sign..choose your OS then test

Jroc is correct with the Stealth Mode settings but be aware that if you need to D/L anything from the main site (or many other sites for that matter) you must turn off Stealth Mode Browsing.

I leave Stealth Mode enabled and turn it off only when required.

:( Yeb!! Not pass again, maybe it doesn't compatible with AdSubtract pro I will go back to Zonealarm pro but Let me try Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1 first.
