nerovision express 2 problem

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I have the following problem. I have made a dvd with nerovison express (latest version from Ahead) , and when i start the transcoding process to make an image or write to folders, the program just dissapears after about 30-45 minutes of transcoding...any idea why?

Nero 6 and RecordNowMax (or whatever it is- eg PrimoDVD) conflict- there was no problem with Nero 5.5.X. More than that,you also have Disjuggler installed, plus inCD plus MS Imapi active which makes things rather worse.
Your installed codecs set is rather OK and should not be the problem. And finally, I'd like to mention that nobody really trusts Nero for video encoding (althogh here you did just transcoding with the commercial version of DVDshrink).

nerovision problem

i have no recordnowm ax or whatever so no such conflict...plus i do not use or have never installed dvd shrink...i made the dvd with mpeg files i have downloaded from the web - they are all small music clips video files....most in vcd or svcd quality....Incd is part of Nero's packjage, why should that be a problem? I had the same problem before installing InCd.
I have no disjuggler or whatever this is....
I do not use the nerovision to recode, just to author a dvd....

Pxhelper.sys driver... if it's not from RecordNowMax, then it is from Sonic myDVD or similar Sonic software, or even Winamp 5.X professional- and it DOES conflict with Nero 6...

Nero likes to call the commercial version of DVdshrink "Nero Recode".

Incd is part of Nero's packjage, why should that be a problem? I had the same problem before installing InCd.

Because all packet writers are potential troublemakers, especially bad ones like inCD.

But you have a Padus pfc.sys driver alive and kicking- if not from Juggler it's from a similar program (S.A.D. or Magix software? you know better...).

nerovision problem

I still do not know what to do....you mention a conflict to Nero...my problem is with nerovision, nero works perfectly well, as does recode....furthermore the problem was present before InCD installation so there is no conflict there...thanks for your effort but I still don't have an answer....why does nerovision dissapear after 30-45 mins?
About the padsys, i have no idea why is that there...could it be from Scenarist pro? I don't have or ever had the programs you mention.

NeroVision Express sorry is just a toy really. Unfortunately most of Nero addon progs seam to work only when there is a full moon or when it feals like it. This forum and most others are just crammed you people have probs with the program.

If you want software that works everytime, then check out the 2 TutoriaL sections on recommended advice on how to convert DVD's to all varoius forms.

Couldnt agree more Nero can when it feels like it be a useful all round tool but Im afraid it just does not hack it when it comes to the more serious burning/encoding!!

Nope, scenarist pro must have installed the Prassi/Sonic engine (pxhelper).
But the Padus Foundation Class layer is also there... you might have tried at some time "GameJack" or "MovieJack" or a similar program which uses a Padus buring engine.
Personally I didn't have problems with the Padus engine and other software, but that doesn't mean it will work painlessly with everything...

So how do I uninstall these two? Scenarist is already uninstalled long ago-the driver is still there...( the Prassi/Sonic engine (pxhelper) and the Padus Foundation Class layer). Will this help? Already uninstalled InCd and tried again with the same result=nothing! As for nero being a toy, if I can make it work, it will be an excellent toy as it is the only one that can get mpeg2 directly from DVDs with 5.1 sound...I have pinnacle 8 and Intervideo WinDVD creator and they both refused to work with such clips...plus I can use animated menus with videos as buttons and background and music with Nerovision....
