Have latest version of Nero 6. All works fine except option to make DVD+VR is missing. Using Pioneer 106 with DVD+RW disk. Any ideas? Sent problem to Ahead - never replied!

Hi dennissm, Welcome to our forum! :)

sorry, i don't have knowledge in DVD burning, but i can find "DVD Video" and "DVD ROM (UDF)" for compatible video DVDs in Nero 5.5.10.54 (Classic); What do you mean with "DVD+VR"?

DVD+VR and Nerovision express 2

DVD+VR is only available with Nero 6 / Nerovision Express 2. It is a DVD-Video format using a DVD+R or +RW disc on which you can burn a video project which can then be added to later. With a DVD+RW disc you can even alter the existing video as well as add further material to the disc.

AFAIK it is "supported" in Nero, but not introduced yet... why they advertise it? I don't know... anyway when it's introduced you'll have it for free. Might be wrong and they have introduced it, but when I was reading the cpecs it said it would work only on certain +RW burners, I have no idea if your Pioneer is one of them.
You can check Cyberlink's Power Producer and the latest range of the Ulead video editing programs, all of them can do that odd thing. Maybe other video editors, too.
